Checked on October 29, 2026

**We make agentes.chat.** Facts about the other tools come from their own pages, listed under Sources with the date we checked them. Facts about agentes.chat describe the product as it is today.

**Short answer:** There is no single best AI agent platform. If your team lives in Slack or Teams, the agents built in there, or Viktor and Lindy, keep everyone in one app. If you want several agents, each with its own role, model and budget, in a team chat with clear approval rules, that's what agentes.chat is built for.

## What are the top AI agent platforms for teams in 2026?

We picked ten platforms that put AI agents to work with a team rather than one person. We left out developer frameworks such as CrewAI, and agents meant for personal use. The table sums up what each company says on its own pages, as we read them on October 29, 2026.

| Platform | Where the team talks to agents | What waits for a person | Price as checked |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| agentes.chat | Its own team chat: channels, threads and DMs, on the web, desktop (Mac, Windows and Linux) and phone (iPhone and Android) | Merges, deploys and rollbacks, always; reading never asks | Not announced; early access through a waitlist |
| Slack (Slackbot) | Slack channels and DMs\[2\] | Every agentic action Slackbot takes needs human approval\[2\] | Ongoing Slackbot on Business+ ($9 per user/month, yearly) and Enterprise+\[1\] |
| Microsoft Teams with Copilot | Teams channels, through Channel Agent\[3\] | Not covered in the notice we read | Needs a Microsoft 365 Copilot license\[3\] |
| ChatGPT workspace agents | ChatGPT and Slack channels\[4\] | Write actions default to “Always ask”\[4\] | Business, Enterprise, Edu and Teachers; credit-based after May 6, 2026\[4\] |
| Claude Cowork and Claude Tag | Cowork in the Claude apps; Tag in Slack, in public beta\[5\]\[6\] | With permission settings on, Cowork waits before significant actions\[5\] | Team at $20 per seat/month; Tag billed by usage under a cap\[5\]\[6\] |
| Viktor | Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord and a web app\[7\] | Asks before sensitive actions; the team picks which\[7\] | Free to start with up to $100 in credits; Team from $50/month for 20,000 credits\[8\] |
| Lindy | Slack, iMessage, email and the browser\[10\] | Actions that write or send can wait for approval\[10\] | $50 in credits for 7 days; Team from $29.99 per active user/month\[11\] |
| Dust | Web app, and Slack through @Dust\[15\] | Not described on the pages we read | Pro at €24 per user/month, yearly, excluding VAT\[14\] |
| Glean | An AI platform on company data that brings AI into Slack and other tools\[16\] | Not described on the pages we read | No public price; demo only\[17\] |
| Relevance AI | A platform for building agents and multi-agent systems; Slack and Gmail among its integrations\[18\] | Human-in-the-loop approvals in its enterprise governance list\[18\] | One Enterprise plan, no public price\[19\] |

No scores and no winner: each row sums up the vendor's own page on the date checked. Prices in the currency each vendor publishes.

## How did we compare them?

We make agentes.chat, so we held the other products to their own words. Every fact about another company comes from its official page (or, where the site refused our reader, from a news report), linked and dated at the end. Facts about agentes.chat describe the product as it is today.

We asked the same five questions of each:

- **Where people talk to the agents:** in the chat they already use, in a separate app, or in a new chat.
- **How many agents:** one shared assistant, or several with their own roles.
- **Who approves:** what the agent does alone and what waits for a person.
- **Model and cost:** who picks the AI and how spending is kept in check.
- **Price as checked:** what is published, with no estimates of ours.

We don't score them. These products change fast, and what suits a sales team on Teams won't suit an engineering team on Slack. Each source at the end shows when we last checked it.

## What does agentes.chat do, and where does it fall short?

agentes.chat is a team chat, with channels, threads and DMs, where people and AI agents work together. Owners and admins create as many agents as they need, without code, each with a role, instructions, a model, tools and a monthly budget. Nobody has to @mention an agent: a router picks who answers a message, one agent for a normal message and up to four for a message meant for everyone.

Reading and investigating never ask. Merges, deploys and rollbacks always wait for a person, and deleting, sending, paying, publishing or sharing in a connected app asks or is switched off. The request shows up as a card in the chat with the exact action, runs once as approved and expires after 24 hours. Our [guide to human-in-the-loop AI agents](https://agentes.chat/en/guides/human-in-the-loop-ai-agents) has the full rules.

Each agent runs on an API key from one of 7 providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, Kimi, Z.ai and MiniMax) or on a teammate's Claude plan; ChatGPT plans, through Codex, are still in testing. Each agent can get its own desktop and browser on the workspace's computer, in beta.

Where it falls short today:

- It's in invite-only early access, with no price announced.
- It doesn't connect to Slack or Microsoft 365. It offers 58 one-click presets for 56 vendors' official MCP servers, plus GitHub and any MCP server by address. Several others on this list advertise far larger catalogs.

## Does Slack have AI agents?

Yes. Slack calls Slackbot an AI teammate for the whole team. It researches Slack history, connected apps and the web, builds reports and dashboards, and takes actions in apps such as Jira, Figma, Salesforce and Docusign. Slack says every agentic action gets an audit trail and human approval before it runs, and that customer data is never used to train AI models\[2\].

Ongoing Slackbot access comes with Business+, with a weekly message limit, and Enterprise+, without one; Free and Pro get a limited trial\[1\]\[2\]. For a team that already lives in Slack, it's the smallest change. We compare the two in depth in [agentes.chat vs Slack AI](https://agentes.chat/en/compare/slack-ai-alternative).

## What about Copilot agents in Microsoft Teams?

In Teams, Channel Agent puts a Copilot agent in channels. Microsoft's notice from March 2026, updated in April, says it needs a Microsoft 365 Copilot license and works in Teams on Windows, Mac, the web, iOS and Android, and that people can turn off the automatic agent when they set up a team or channel\[3\].

If your company already pays for Microsoft 365 and Copilot, it's the most natural fit. Microsoft's own pages timed out on every attempt, so we left its prices and approval rules out rather than guess. The full comparison is in [agentes.chat vs Microsoft Teams with Copilot agents](https://agentes.chat/en/compare/microsoft-teams-copilot-agents).

## What are ChatGPT workspace agents?

OpenAI launched workspace agents on April 22, 2026, as the successor to custom GPTs, for Business, Enterprise, Edu and Teachers plans. They run in the cloud on Codex, can be added to Slack channels, run on a schedule and keep memory between runs\[4\].

Write actions such as sending email or filing a ticket default to “Always ask”, and the builder can change that per action. They were free until May 6, 2026, and are credit-based since\[4\]. OpenAI's site refused our reader, so these facts come from VentureBeat's launch report. We compare them with agentes.chat in depth in [agentes.chat vs ChatGPT workspace agents](https://agentes.chat/en/compare/chatgpt-workspace-agents).

## How do Claude Cowork and Claude Tag differ?

Cowork is Claude's agent for non-coding work such as research, analysis and documents, and it's now part of Claude itself. It runs in the desktop app (the page offers a macOS download only), on the web and on mobile, and can run tasks on a schedule. With permission settings on, it shows its plan and waits for approval before significant actions, and deleting anything needs your approval. The Team plan is $20 per seat a month for 2 to 150 seats\[5\].

Claude Tag puts Claude in Slack channels, in public beta, on Team and Enterprise plans. Anyone in the channel can hand it work, channel use bills to the organization under a monthly spend limit, and each task runs in a temporary sandbox that is thrown away afterwards\[6\]. Both give the team one Claude, rather than several agents with separate roles.

## Viktor and Lindy: what is an AI employee?

Both sell the idea of hiring one AI employee the whole team shares. **Viktor** works in Slack, Microsoft Teams (no Copilot license needed), Discord and a web app, connects to 9,800+ tools and asks before sensitive actions\[7\]. It has its own cloud computer where it writes and runs code, and it builds internal web apps with a database and sign-in\[9\]. It's free to start with up to $100 in credits. Team starts at $50 a month for 20,000 credits, and the most popular option is $100 for 40,000 credits shared across the workspace\[8\].

**Lindy** talks to the team through Slack, iMessage, email and the browser, with 1,500+ integrations plus MCP, and actions that write or send can wait for approval\[10\]. It also makes phone calls\[10\] and sits in meetings to take notes and follow up\[12\]. New accounts get $50 in credits that last 7 days, and Team starts at $29.99 per active user a month\[11\].

Both are one shared agent. In agentes.chat you build a team of agents with separate roles. See our side-by-side pages on [Viktor](https://agentes.chat/en/compare/viktor) and [Lindy](https://agentes.chat/en/compare/lindy).

## Dust, Glean and Relevance AI: who are they for?

**Dust** calls itself “multiplayer AI for human-agent collaboration”. Teams build and share many agents and choose among 20+ models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral and others\[13\]. Agents answer in Slack when someone mentions @Dust, one agent per message\[15\]. The Pro seat is €24 per user a month, billed yearly, excluding VAT\[14\].

**Glean** is an enterprise AI platform connected to company data, with search and agents, 40+ models and 275+ connected apps\[16\]\[17\]. Its pricing isn't public: the page asks you to book a demo\[17\].

**Relevance AI** is a platform for building, testing and managing specialist agents and multi-agent systems, with human-in-the-loop approvals among its governance features\[18\]. Its pricing page shows one Enterprise plan, through sales\[19\]. All three suit teams that want agents built on company data and processes more than teams looking for a shared chat.

## Which AI agent platform fits your team?

Start with where your team already talks. Then decide how many agents you want and who approves what.

* **Your team lives in Slack:** Slackbot, Claude Tag, ChatGPT agents in Slack, Viktor or Dust keep everyone in one app.
* **You run on Microsoft 365:** Copilot in Teams, or Viktor, which also works in Teams.
* **You've standardized on ChatGPT or Claude:** ChatGPT workspace agents, or Claude Cowork and Tag. For that choice, see our [Claude Cowork alternative](https://agentes.chat/en/compare/claude-cowork-alternative) page.
* **Search and agents across lots of internal data:** Glean or Relevance AI.
* **Several agents with their own roles, models and budgets, in a team chat in English or Portuguese:** agentes.chat.

If the last line sounds like your team, agentes.chat opens in waves, in waitlist order. For the bigger picture first, read [AI agents for teams](https://agentes.chat/en/guides/ai-agents-for-teams).

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best AI agent platform for a small business?

It depends on where your team works. If that's Slack, the options that live inside it change the least. If you want several agents with separate roles and a budget per agent, agentes.chat is built for that, though it's still in early access.

### Is agentes.chat free?

Pricing hasn't been announced. Prices are shown before anyone picks a plan, and people on the waitlist hear first.

### Do these platforms train AI on our data?

Slack says customer data is never used to train AI models\[2\], Viktor says it doesn't train models on customer data\[7\], and Lindy says customer data is never sold or used for training\[10\]. agentes.chat doesn't use workspace content for training either.

### Can we use AI agents without leaving Slack?

Yes. Slackbot, Claude Tag, ChatGPT workspace agents, Viktor and Dust all work inside Slack\[2\]\[4\]\[6\]\[7\]\[15\]. agentes.chat is its own chat and doesn't connect to Slack today.

### Why is there no winner column?

Because we make agentes.chat, and because the right pick changes from team to team. We'd rather show the facts with sources and dates, and say where each one is stronger.
